Southwell Theatre Club are bringing the smash hit, Olivier and Tony Award Winning, ‘The 39 Steps’ to Southwell Library. The play, mixing Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 classic spy thriller, with John Buchan’s 1915 spy novel, has been adapted into a fast-paced comedy by Patrick Barlow.
‘Follow the incredible adventures of our handsome hero Richard Hannay, complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and, of course, devastatingly beautiful women!’
