Set on Christmas Eve 1981, filming has just wrapped on the Top of the Plops Christmas Special. Excitement fills the studio as performers gather for the official wrap party, each desperate to claim the coveted Christmas Top Plop Number 1 spot. Beneath the tinsel, festive cheer is overshadowed by fierce rivalry, bruised egos and months of behind‑the‑scenes tension. Every act wants the top spot, and tonight the announcement will finally be made.
As the music stars toast to the end of filming, rumours swirl, jealousies flare and scandal brews. The question remains: will this be a night of celebration, or will the Christmas chart war end in murder?
